INDIA FAIR 2008, BANGKOK; JULY 24-27, 2008.

India Trade Promotion Organisation (a Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Commerce & Industry) will be organizing exclusive India event ‘India Fair 2008’ in Bangkok during July 24-27, 2008.  The venue for this event is ‘IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre (Hall No. 8)’, designed and constructed with the State-of-the-Art facilities.

The event has been planned in view of the bilateral relations between India and Thailand, reinforced by increase of economic and commercial links, exchange of high level visits on both sides, India’s dialogue partnership with ASEAN.  Thailand is today India’s 4th trade partner in ASEAN region.  Moreover, Thailand’s ‘Look West’ policy compliments India’s ‘Look East’ policy.

The forthcoming fair at Bangkok aims at providing an ideal platform to the Indian companies/organizations to explore potential for their products and services not only in Thai market, but also the whole of ASEAN region with special emphasis on the neighbouring countries-Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.  Besides projecting scientific and technological advancement in different spheres, it includes potential and opportunities for trade, technology transfer/joint ventures, investments, R & D activities on both sides.

The event is being organized with the support of Embassy of India in Thailand.  Besides, important organizations/associations in Thailand like Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Board of Investment, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau also have assured us of full cooperation.  

The publicity campaign by a professional company in Bangkok will promote the fair and the participating companies/organisations thereof among the target segment/region.

In addition to the fair, activities like business seminar, food festival, cultural programmes are also planned during the fair period.
